What is Body Control Pilates?

Body Control Pilates teaches the principles of Pilates, and develops the exercises gradually through a step by step method.
The deep postural muscles are located and activated, with the body in a good alignment (position).
The exercises start at a low level of challenge and, according to ability, increase and become stronger, more coordinated and flowing as your strength and stamina improve. The exercises can be adjusted to ensure that your body is being developed without strain or pain.
Body Control Pilates is very effective for improving musculoskeletal problems, including back or neck pain, but it is not an instant cure! Pilates is best practised regularly to achieve optimum results, and it takes time to rebalance the body, particularly after injury or pain.
The training is extensive, with regular Continuing Professional Development to maintain membership status.
